As we approach the fiscal year's close, it's crucial to be aware of the upcoming deadlines and opportunities for advancing your career through Credential Assistance (CA) via ArmyIgnitED or AF COOL.

Important Deadlines for FY24:

• Submit Before Deadline: Ensure all FY24 Funding requests are submitted by 2000 EDT, July 30, 2024, for courses or exams starting by September 13, 2024.

• Note the Blackout Period: There will be no submissions accepted for start dates from September 14 to 30, 2024.

Looking Ahead to FY25:

• Early Planning for FY25: Begin submitting your CA requests starting September 17, 2024, for courses or exams that start on or after November 1, 2024. Keep in mind, submissions are dependent on the availability of funds and must be placed at least 45 days before your course or exam start date.

Air Force COOL Program: For Air Force personnel, the COOL program offers an additional avenue for funding your certification. Like ArmyIgnitED, this program supports your educational goals and is an excellent resource for those seeking to further their skills in specialized fields.
